Taking the Stress Out of Crossing the Border

Most of us get a little nervous when we reach the border. Border patrol officers can be intimidating, even when you haven't done anything wrong! If you do have a reason to be denied entry from the US-Canadian border, however, crossing the border can be a particularly stressful experience. Will you be turned away? Will you be able to make it to your final destination? What will happen to the passengers in your car? Instead of adding more stress to your life, you'll need to find ways to cross the border stress free.
The first thing to do? Breathe! Take a deep breath and stay calm. If thinking about crossing the border makes you feel anxious, pause, take some deep breaths, and start thinking about your game plan. If you are ineligible to enter into the United States legally, you need a US Waiver. A US Waiver is a document that allows ineligible travellers to enter into the country. It essentially gives you permission despite any issues you may have in your past.
There are a number of reasons why you may currently be considered ineligible to enter the country. In fact, many Canadian citizens are turned away at the US-Canadian border each and every day. Some of the reasons that you may be denied entry include: a criminal record in either Canada or the United States, possession or trafficking of a controlled substance, having a communicable disease, overstaying a work or travel visa, or previously being deported. You may also be denied if you have been in prison more than once or if your total time in jail exceeds five years. If any of these apply to you, then a US Waiver will be necessary. So, stop stressing and start doing something about it.
Once you've determined that you need a US Waiver to cross the border, you'll need to start the application process. You can do it yourself, however, the process may add to your stress level. Why? The rules can change at any time and you will need to take care of supplying supporting documents, photographs, fingerprints, and so on. To reduce your stress level, turn to a qualified US Waiver professional. They can help you fill out and file your application properly and correctly.
You may be wondering if a US Waiver is really necessary. Maybe you could get into the United States without it? This is never a good idea. If you are ineligible to enter the country, attempting to do so illegally can lead to serious consequences. You may be turned away or your vehicle may be impounded. If you make multiple attempts to illegally cross the border, you may even face severe fines or jail time. To cross the border without adding to your stress levels, a US Waiver is the only way. Not only will it gain you entry into the United States legally, but you won't have to worry about being denied! It is the smartest solution.
Are you ready to travel stress free? Then don't forget about your US Waiver. Once your application is approved, you'll be able to travel across the United States carefree. What could be better than that?
